Our Chief Stewards and Stewards attended a class about mobilization and issues we will face in bargaining as we strive to achieve a successor contract. I want to thank the Business Agents and the Mobilization Committee for putting together an outstanding program. We are in for a big fight with Frontier when we start bargaining August 20, and we will be fully prepared and ready to go. The next step is process for our members to engage and mobilization activities to support our efforts. We cannot do this alone. Frontier Communications has become reliant on outsourcing. Frontier needs to invest in jobs. Contractors have become completely integrated into the workforce from the first call the customer makes, building new fiber networks and into the customer premise. We need every member to participate and support the Bargaining Committee to achieve the fair and just contract we deserve. Stay tuned for mobilization activities in your workplace.
