We are pleased to announce that the AFL-CIO has added a Labor walk (see below) for Republican Representative Tom Delnicki who is currently serving the town of South Windsor and is up for re-election. Tom has been very supportive of labor friendly legislation including being a co-sponsor of the Unemployment for Striking Workers bill.

Thursday, October 10th at 6:00 pm WE are hosting a Phone banking & Postcard writing event for Congresswoman Jahana Hayes at CWA HQ. Please email kedwards@cwa1298.org to let us know if you can join us.

It is very important for members to know how anti-labor policies can and will impact our rights to organize and collectively bargain. Labor policies and corporate policies differ greatly. Please sign up and join us for our CWA Local 1298 webinar to discuss CWA Union Strong 2024:Protecting Labor Rights . This forum is the follow up to our discussion held during the recent membership meeting. Here we will outline and discuss how these policies affect UNIONS and UNION members and why it is important to know exactly what is at stake as it pertains to our ability to organize and the impact on OUR livelihoods.

Webinar: Tuesday, October 15th at 6:00 pm. Please note: You must register in advance to attend. Register for this meeting here. Please register and email kedwards@cwa1298.org to let us know if you can join us.

Additionally, Below is a list of the remaining CT AFL-CIO Labor Walks for Election 2024. Please sign up for a shift.
