The bargaining team continues to meet with the Company to discuss all proposals. We have had a lot of conversation on healthcare, increased management rights vs. bargaining unit rights as well as  changes in Article 8. As we have said before, and continuously remind the company, after so many give backs in the last round of negotiations, we have no plans to continue that trend. We will not be giving anything else back to YP LLC without getting something in return. Negotiations are about give and take, and we continue to wait to see what they will be giving!   Today YP confirmed that they do not have a compensation proposal at this point. Without a compensation plan there is no way we can continue to negotiate. We explained that we need to be able to evaluate all proposals as a total package. They did not disagree.  Both sides  agreed to extend the contract month by month with all of our current language until YP can propose a compensation plan. This bargaining team is committed to maintaining every right we have fought for year after year. We’ve heard our YP member's concerns regarding the compensation plan, working conditions  and base pay increases.  These concerns  continue to be our top priority when bargaining resumes.   Until then, please complete this survey to help us better understand our member’s healthcare needs https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CBNF8MX Don’t forget to wear RED every Thursday in support of your bargaining team and wait for more information from your Union about our mobilization plans!
