That’s why we continue our long commitment to funding college scholarships to help union families achieve their dreams.” Union Plus Scholarship awards, ranging from $500 to $4,000, are granted to students attending a two-year college, four-year college, graduate school or a recognized technical or trade school. Recipients are selected based on academic ability, social awareness, financial need and appreciation of labor. Union Plus recognizes that higher education is important to working families and a key to improved financial security. Union Plus also offers the following benefits to help union families who are dealing with the high cost of education: Discounts of 15 to 60 percent on college and graduate school test preparation courses from The Princeton Review.
