Earlier this month we reached out to the Frontier benefits team with our concerns over the ongoing negotiations between Hartford Health to remain in the Anthem BCBS In-Network provider list and its impact to many members should they fail to reach an agreement. Anthem is fully aware of the Frontier employees level of utilization and ensure they are doing all they can to get a new contract. They further informed us that during the last negotiations, the agreement was reached on the last day of negotiations and they are doing all they can to reach an agreement this time as well.      Today we learned that they still have not reached an agreement and the Frontier benefits team sent out emails to its employees with an update, instructions and documents for those that may be impacted. Negotiations are still ongoing and once/if terms are reached, the agreement will be retroactive to October 1, 2017.      Please reach out to Anthem Customer Service on the back of your insurance cards if you've questions on how to fill the documents out.
