My apologies for an earler article stating Hartford Health Care & Anthem BCBS having reached an agreement. It was an earlier article from 2014 from their last dispute. As of October 5, 2017, the two entities have yet to come to terms on an agreement. We have asked Frontier to help put pressure on them to come to terms. I encourage all members to reach out to their representatives and demand they put pressure on them as well to come to terms. For those members that have HCC, consider rescheduling any current non-essential appointments to a later date to avoid any increase in deductibles as any services through the HCC umbrella is now considered Out-Of-Network. When/if they come to terms I am told they will retro back all services to October 1, 2017 and consider them as In-Network and reimburse the difference to any member that was charged the higher rate.
