The Office of Consumer Counsel (OCC) and the Attorney General issue statements to the the Public Utility Regulatory Authority (PURA) in regards to the planned acquisition of AT&T by Frontier. The OCC has issued a " Motion to Compel"  because both AT&T and Frontier have been slow in responding to request for information. The OCC further states that there is a lack of bona fide information available for them to provide an opinion on how the sale will benefit public interest and without this information they are suggesting the possibility of dismissing the petition for the acquisition.  The OCC shows support of CL&P's  "Motion to Compel" and describes their frustration over AT&T's and Frontiers constant lack of information.  Interestingly, both companies say they don't have this information but can provide it after the sale.   The attached letter suggest that PURA deny the request unless the companies fulfill their responsibility to place the required information on record.
