Flexible Spending Account Deadlines

We have recently been made aware that ADP is misinforming employees regarding filing deadlines for the 2016 reimbursements.   As a reminder, our plan states  if you participated in the Health Care and/or Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Plans in 2016, you have until March 31, 2017 to submit expenses incurred in 2016 for reimbursement.  This means you must spend the money before year end. If you miss the filing deadline your account balance will be forfeited under the IRS rules for FSA plans.
