AT&T MEMBERS!!! AT&T MOBILITY UNFAIR UNJUST UNREASONABLE!

AT&T Mobility gave notice to CWA they plan to change the retail attendance policy effective April 1, 2015. CWA requested bargaining over this change and AT&T has refused. CWA Local 1298 has been informed that many of you have been brought into meetings and LIED to that this change was agreed to by the Union. We believe this change is a violation of our contract and will put every Member in serious jeopardy. This plan is UNFAIR, UNJUST and UNREASONABLE! The CWA is doing everything in our power to fight this. We plan to file an Executive Level Grievance the moment they implement this change (Wednesday) and if you receive ANY points, even if they do not lead to discipline, we need you to notify your Vice President, Business Agent, Chief Steward, Steward or the CWA Local 1298 office immediately so we may file a grievance. This plan is so aggressive we must seek the protections of the grievance process! We will be mobilizing against this change on Wednesday, April 1st: You will be asked to wear medical masks and/or rubber gloves – not only to mobilize against this policy change, but also to protect yourself from publicly spreading illnesses and being pointed under this archaic new plan. If you are asked to remove your mask or gloves please do so, however, contact your Vice President, Business Agent, Chief Steward, Steward or the CWA Local 1298 office immediately – do not be insubordinate!
