Message from CWA 1298 President Dave Weidlich
The Union and the company met this week. The company passed some proposals, and the Union asked clarifying questions. We are still waiting for information requests previously sent. This information is slowly trickling in and is imperative in order for us to move forward.
We will be holding our Strike Prep training next week on Tuesday and Wednesday. All of our chief stewards, stewards, site coordinators and picket captains will receive their assignments, and we will make sure that our plan is very clear!
The Executive Board would like to thank all of our members that have been mobilizing, whether in the field, at the centers, or from home. Keep the pictures coming, they are all being posted on our website. Contracts are not won at the table; they are won in the field! It is going to take each and everyone to accomplish this and get the strong contract we all deserve.
