David M. Laurie, lifetime resident of Guilford, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2022, at St. Raphael Hospital, New Haven, CT. Born in New Haven in 1959, son of the late Michael H. Laurie and Anna (Broggi) Laurie, Dave is the beloved husband of Ann M. (Britwistle) Laurie and loving father of Jennifer and David Laurie Jr., all of Guilford. He is also survived by his brother Michael Laurie and sister Karen Laurie, of Guilford.

He worked at Frontier Communications for 42 years, and enjoyed watching the Yankees, riding his Harley, restoring a '74 Camaro and coaching.

He graduated from Guilford High School, class of 1977. Dave was a longtime employee of Frontier Communications, formerly SNET, where he worked for 42 years, most recently as a Network Technician. He enjoyed spending his free time golfing, restoring his 1974 Camaro, watching the New York Yankees, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, coaching youth football, lacrosse, and baseball when his son was young, and spending time with family and friends.
