Susan Beth Calistro, 57, lifelong resident of Branford, entered eternal rest on Jan. 28, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Sue was born on August 20, 1963 in New Haven, Connecticut, to Patricia D. Calistro and the late Eugene R. Calistro.

She is survived by her fiancé, Rob Farrow and his daughter, Stephanie. She also leaves behind her mother, Patricia, her sister, Wynne Bottomley (Brett) and her brother, Hon. Eugene R. Calistro, Jr. (Gia). She was cherished by her niece and nephews, Kelly, Christian and Gianni Calistro and Austin and Griffin Bottomley each of whom Sue loved and adored, teaching them important life lessons in love, compassion and generosity along with patiently teaching each one how to drive.

Sue was a 1981 graduate of Branford High School and a 1986 graduate of the University of New Haven having earned a degree in Fashion Merchandising. She was employed at Frontier Communications for 21 years where she recently retired.

Sue loved her family and friends as well as her community where she enjoyed volunteering for many years on the Annual Branford Fest committee and co-chairing as well as volunteering to lead the Annual Easter Seals Fantasy of Lights Event which was sponsored by Frontier. She was an avid shopper and tag sale enthusiast always finding that hidden gem and generously sharing with her family and friends.

She was happiest when she vacationed at the beach in Cape Cod and in Florida or simply by the condo pool. Anyone who knew Sue knew what a bright presence she was. If you needed something, Sue would go out of her way to support your cause and need. She loved the world and will be truly missed.
