cDiana M. Puzia, 61, passed peacefully on December 29, 2016 with her sons by her side. Diana was born on January 3, 1955 in Hartford, CT to Adam and Yvonne (Mainville) Puzia. She led a humble life, putting the needs of others before herself. She was a dedicated mother to two sons, Gregory Gidarakos and wife Lori of Vernon; and Adam Gidarakos and fiancée Michaela O'Donnell of West Hartford. Holidays were especially important to her and her cookies made them even more special. Diana gave endless love and support to her granddaughter Kennedy Gidarakos of Vernon. She always enjoyed a trip to the casino with her sisters; her twin with whom she shared a special bond, Deborah Puzia and husband Jim Bates of Monroe, GA; Carlene Black of East Hartford; Ernestine Nicotera and husband Norman of South Windsor; and her brother John Puzia and wife Ann Louise of Stafford. She had many nieces and nephews that she shared special memories with. Diana was a hardworking dedicated employee of Frontier Communications (SNET/SBC/ATT) for 37 years. In her spare time she created cross-stitch memories for family, friends, and co-workers. She enjoyed being with her cats Maggie and Slyme. Funeral services in celebration of Diana's life will be held on Saturday, January 7, 4 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield. The family invites anyone to share stories or memories at that time.
