Southington - Mr. David W. Kapral, age 63, of Southington, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 14, 2016 at New Britain General Hospital. He was the husband of Hilda "Heide" (Dragan) Kapral. Mr. Kapral was born in Hartford on September 21, 1952 son off the late Walter and Helen (Sapkowski) Kapral. He was retired from AT&T where he had worked as an Outside Network Engineer for many years and was a member of the Southington Lodge of Elks. David was affectionately known as "The Polish Prince" to his family and friends. He enjoyed working with gadgets and trying out new items to the market, especially watches and flashlights. In addition to his wife, Mr. Kapral is survived by a cousin Mark Kapral of South Windsor and his lifelong friend: Weston Wood, Jr. of Plainville. He was predeceased by a daughter: Amanda Melissa Kapral.
