Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours Friday from 4 – 8 PM at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 504 Main St., Branford, and may attend a funeral service Saturday morning at 9 AM in Trinity Episcopal Church, Branford. Burial will follow in Center Cemetery, Branford.
In Branford November 30, 2010, Robert J. Cromer, beloved husband of Lauren Martinez-Cromer of 8 Farview Drive, Branford.
He was born in Queens, NY February 17, 1959, a son of Jesse (Myrla) Cromer of Orlando, FL and the late Lucia Cromer. He served in the U. S. Navy, and he worked for A. T. & T as a lineman. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Branford and he served on the Branford RTM from 2005-2007.
Besides his wife, father and step-mother, he is survived by his daughter Marisa Hillman and her husband, Brad, and his son Robert "Bobby" Cromer of Branford; his brothers Jesse (Cathy) Cromer of Hicksville, NY, Daniel Sigurdson of Topsham, ME, Vincent Sigurdson of E. Setauket, NY, Tom Cromer and Kenneth Cromer both of E. Meadow, NY and Richard Cromer of Orlando, FL; and his sister Kristina (Paul) DeFrancisco of Lowell, MA.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to the Lance Armstrong Foundation, P. O. Box 6003, Albert Lea, MN 56007.
