Family and friends gathered 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, at the funeral home for a procession to Holy Family Church for an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Keith's life. Burial will be in St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery.

Keith Raymond Zachary, 47, of Enfield, adoring husband of Debra A. (Liddell) Zachary, entered into eternal life, Thursday, June 3, 2010, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer.

He was born in Hartford, Sept. 14, 1962, the devoted son of Raymond J. and Elaine B. (Cashen) Zachary and was a lifelong resident of Enfield. Keith was employed with AT&T as a telephone lineman for 20 years. A member of Holy Family Parish, he also taught CCD classes for six years. Keith especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, attending family sporting events and vacations to the family home on Cape Cod, Mass. He had a beautiful smile, sunny personality and a true love of humankind. Wherever he went, he loved meeting strangers and making them his friends. Keith's corneas were donated to a lucky individual who may be blessed to see life the way he did.

Besides his wife, Debra, Keith is survived by his cherished children, Sarah, Jack, and Alex Zachary of Enfield; stepchildren, Timothy Mooney of Manchester, Tara Mooney and Hayes Mooney of Enfield; his loving brothers and sisters, Lynn Roy, and husband, Paul, of Enfield, Mark Zachary, Scott Zachary, and wife, Rosemarie, of Somers, and Kim Lawlor, and husband, Tim, of Rocky Hill; special nieces and nephews, Jeff and Chelsea Roy, Jennifer, Taylor, and Madison Zachary, Morgan, Troy and Nick Zachary and Renee, Brooke and Heather Lawlor. He also leaves his Aunt Carol and Uncle Chris Johns of Rocky Hill, Aunt Suzanne Taulbe of Alameda, Calif., whom he loved dearly; along with the three godchildren he was blessed with, Jennifer, Troy, and Heather; and a lifetime of many special friendships. Keith was predeceased by his infant brother, Jack Zachary; nephew, Tyler Zachary; grandmother, Lillian Cashen; grandparents, Raymond and Thelma Zachary; and Uncle Jack Zachary.
