WALLINGFORD - Francis "Frank" J. Fallon Sr., 82, beloved husband of the late Marion Hoffman Fallon of Fritz Place, Yalesville section of Wallingford, and a summer resident of West Yarmouth, Mass., died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at The Connecticut Hospice in Branford.
He was born in Pawtucket, R.I., Feb. 26, 1927, a son of the late Francis and Catherine Clifford Fallon, and was a World War II Veteran of the U.S. Navy. Francis had been employed by the Southern New England Telephone Company for 40 years until his retirement in 1989 and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Yalesville.
He is survived by his two sons. Francis J. "Bud" Fallon, Jr. of Meriden and Timothy P. Fallon of Naples, Fla.; his granddaughter, Sara K. Fallon; his brother, Robert Fallon of Seekonk, Mass.; his sister-in-law, Jane Berry of Yalesville; his brother-in-law, Francis T. Hoffman of Wallingford; and several nieces and nephews including, Kathy Berry Prentice of Wallingford, Paula Berry Zeller of Florida and Kerry Ann Fallon Snyder of Massachusetts.
