Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Lacerenza Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. A prayer service will follow at 12 noon in the funeral home. Interment will be conducted in private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
LANG Robert B. "Spanky" Lang, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 in East Haven. He was a longtime Stamford resident until moving to East Haven. Rob was 55 years old. He was born on September 27, 1954 in New York City. He was the son of the late Dr. Robert E. and Francine Russo Lang. He is survived by his family, Maryann Lang, Grace Gorman and Frank Martello Jr. Robert graduated from Stamford Catholic High School in 1972. He attended Saint Michael's College in Vermont. He was an avid softball player and bowler. Spanky will be missed by his many friends.
