A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday (June 24th) 10 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Church 79 New Park Ave. Hartford, CT followed by burial in East Cemetery, Manchester. Family and friends are invited to pay their respect at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center Street Manchester on Tuesday from 4-8 pm. Anthony Louis Flores of Manchester, Connecticut the husband of Nadine Scorgie-Flores passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 in a terrible motorcycle accident.
Anthony was born on August 4, 1983 in Stamford, CT. He attended Washington Elementary continued at Bennett Middle School and graduated from Manchester High School. Anthony then entered and furthered his education at MCC/Tunxis CC/Capital CC while working at AT & T where he inspired his fellow co-workers and friends with his very goal-oriented, no quit attitude.
Besides his wife Anthony is survived by his parents Luis and Celeste Flores along with his younger brothers, best friends, Christopher Flores and much-loved and close brother Jonathan Flores all from Manchester, CT. He is also survived by several Aunts and Uncles Juana Rios, Marisol and Augusto Nicaragua, Marjorie and Michael Guerreiro, Fanny, Narcisa, Vicente, Yessenia Silva and grandparents, Luis and Gladys Silva. He is also survived by several cousins who loved and idiolized him so much including Alan and Angelica Rios, and Estefani Rios. Also surviving are his mother and father-in-law Heather and Victor Scorgie, brother-in-law Matthew Scorgie and sister-in-law Candice Scorgie, Aunt Beverly Malki and her husband Mohan and nephew Luciano Scorgie as well as many close friends Jonathonial Cintron, Aaron Harris, Allen Miller and John Szmondrowski.
Anthony will always be remembered because he touched everyone's hearts with his charming and loving personality.
