Important Note: Plan design will be replicated based on the terms of the collective bargaining agreement Beginning January 1, 2018, Frontier employees prescription drug coverage will transition from CVS Caremark to Express Scripts ("ESI") as explained during open enrollment. You can continue using your CVS Caremark ID cards through December 31, 2017 but will need to provide your new ESI ID cards after January 1, 2018 to your retail pharmacy. You will be receiving your new ID cards between now and the end of the year along with a welcome kit. If you did not receive one by the end of the year, you can print out a temporary ID card online at www.express-scripts.com until your new cards arrive. Things to be aware of for the transition: Open Refills with CVS Caremark WILL transition to ESI during the month of December to ensure it is able to be filled by ESI starting January 1, 2018 Open Refills for Controlled Substance and Compound Drugs WILL NOT transition over and will require a new prescription from your doctor per law and mailed to ESI on or after January 1, 2018 Expired precriptions and prescriptions with no refills WILL NOT transition over. CVS Caremark will continue to fill your prescriptions through December 31, 2017 DO NOT send any new prescrptions to ESI prior to January 1, 2018  The company will be emailing reminders of these changes in the coming days and weeks as well.
