I was proud to attend the 7th annual Labor Luncheon hosted by the Connecticut Labor Assistance Professional along with board members Secretary-Treasurer Louise Gibson, VP Katie Montalbano and VP Frank Oliva.

CWA Local 1298 union assistance professionals Brian LeBlanc and Jason Bannon both received awards from the chapter. Brian was honored with the Service Award, and Jason with the Founders Award. In addition, Brian LeBlanc has stepped down as the Chair of the chapter after 12 years of dedicated service and Jason Bannon has become the new chair for the CT LAP chapter.

Brian and Jason are invaluable to our local and the membership. Having the relationships they do with other Connecticut labor assistance professionals is a big part of making our program successful. Representing our members is not always contract negotiations, grievances and arbitrations. Members and their families struggle daily with so many different personal issues and Brian and Jason can always be counted on to assist in any way. Thank you Brian and Jason for all you do!
