As you may know, we have been attempting to get information from Frontier for several weeks now. Many of our important questions remain unanswered and those questions that have been answered have been vague. We have been in communication with all of the companies on a daily basis raising concerns and trying to get concrete answers for our members. We're also in communication with CWA District 1 about questions and concerns regarding the outbreak's potential impact on our members.

The issues of infection, quarantine and self-quarantine have been addressed by ATT. Frontier is still double talking and winging it which is totally unacceptable. It is frustrating that Companies like ATT and Verizon have worked out paid leave for employees to care for children with the CWA nationally but we have NOT been able to negotiate this yet with Frontier.

We have very serious concerns about precautions and safety in the workplace with Frontier. I have requested an audit of each technician and the supplies they each have, or do not have related to personal safety and sanitation. I have requested the frequency of additional cleaning protocols in the buildings where we have more than 10 people working and if the separation of employees in each location with more than 10 employees is being implemented per CDC guidelines. We are attempting to get as many inside employees as possible to have a work at home option and have signed an agreement to implement this on a one time emergency basis for some titles. We are looking at remote or home reporting for some outside titles. I can assure you that the Union agrees with both the outside and inside workers that the company is not taking all the necessary steps to protect their employees from the increasing danger of the spread of this virus.

We have escalated these issue to Frontier Leadership on numerous occasions and will continue to do so. We know everyone is worried about the rapidly changing situation, and we are doing everything we can to get the company to put workers' safety first, and to get answers to the many questions we still have. Our members' health and safety is our top priority. We will keep you informed of all developments.
