his is a message to all Frontier retirees that retired PRIOR to 12/20/2019. Frontier has advised us that you will be receiving your COBRA letters by the end of this week. All retirees that are not yet Medicare eligible will be able to purchase COBRA coverage for 18 months, for yourself as well as your eligible dependents. There will also be another letter in this mailing giving you the ability to purchase coverage once COBRA expires through the Retiree Medical Access Plan (RMAP), up until you or your eligible dependents reaches Medicare eligibility. The RMAP coverage will be available to ALL retirees that retired prior to 12/20/2019, not to just certain groups as Frontier had previously stated. All costs for COBRA and RMAP will be in the mailing as well as instructions on how to sign up for coverage.
