AT&T Sale to Frontier Update January 29 2013

AT&T sent out a revised Q&A today that stated that they are doing all they can to ensure that only accurate information is shared. Unfortunately, there are managers leaking out information that is inaccurate and is not helpful.  We have begun discussions with AT&T, but at this time they have not exchanged any information with regards to who will be impacted. The company has told the union  that they are still working with the departments and have not finalized whose jobs will be impacted with this proposed sale and as soon as they have a finalized list, they will send it to us.  The Union also recognizes that our members are anxious to receive this information. We have demanded this information and have requested to bargain the effects of the pending sale. As soon as we have more information, we will share it with the membership.
