Message from Dave Weidlich, President

The company has informed the Union that:

401K Eligible wages – An item labeled (IMP-401kWages) is included on your new UKG paystub. IMP-401kWages is a way for Frontier and Fidelity to track retirement-eligible wages in accordance with your union contract. The IMP-401kWages amount is not taxed or reported as income on your check or W2.   To review your taxable income, please review your income tax section to see current and year-to-date (YTD).

Imputed Income –Imputed Income is non-cash taxable compensation such as 'Take the Lead," Gift Card Awards,' and Group Term Life. Frontier has always reported this as income on your paycheck and your annual W2, now we will be following the IRS guidelines to withhold required Federal and State income tax. We encourage you to visit your UKG profile and review your filing status.

Also, the issue with the 401k deductions has been identified and payroll is working on making the adjustments as required. Unfortunately, employees may still see the same errors in this week’s check. The fix is being worked on but will not be completed until next week. Once everything is recalculated, the company will discuss off cycle check options with the Union.

If you have any additional questions or need further clarification, please don't hesitate to contact the Frontier Communication Employee Engagement Center at 888-874-3293.

There was also an error with pay credits and interest credits posting as they normally do monthly to our Milliman pension accounts. Milliman said the credits will be posted at the end of July. There was an issue with the UKG files that had been corrected and all files were transmitted yesterday. Milliman needs two weeks to get all credits posted.
