Wake and Funeral Services:

Services will be held on Saturday, March 19th at The United Church of Christ, 210 Rowayton Avenue, Rowayton, CT at 4:00 p.m. He will be buried in The United Church of Rowayton Memorial Circle. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, is entrusted with arrangements. (www.jenkinskingfh.com) In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Griffin Hospital Cancer Center, 130 Division St. Derby, CT or CT Hospice of Branford, 100 Double Beach Rd.

Bob Geoghegan, passed after a courageous battle against cancer on Thursday, March 3rd at Griffin Hospital of Derby. Bob worked at SNET/ AT&T for 41 years whose first job with the company was a switchmen, he also worked in Bridgeport SCC where he traveled to many central offices in the south over the years. Bob’s recent job duties in New Haven where he was a Mini -computer technician
Bob was a 59 year Ansonia resident, formerly of Stamford, died after a courageous battle against cancer on Thursday, March 3rd at Griffin Hospital of Derby. He was born in Greenwich, CT. on December 24, 1951, son of John Geoghegan and Betty R. Rucker Geoghegan. Robert graduated from the Stamford school system as well as the J.M. Wright Technical School, also of Stamford. Bob was predeceased by his mother. He is survived by his father John of Darien, two brothers John R. Geoghegan of Marina, California and Edward S. Geoghegan & his wife Stephanie of Newtown, two nieces, Madelyn Geoghegan of Newtown & Jessica Geoghegan of Marina, California and nephew John Y. Geoghegan of San Jose, California.
