His family will receive relatives and friends Friday, July 18, from 5 to 8 p.m. in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 19, at 10 a.m. directly at Most Holy Trinity Church, 84 N. Colony St., Wallingford. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery in Wallingford.
WALLINGFORD - Mark B. Manfreda, 60, of Wallingford, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014. He was the youngest son of the late Dr. Joseph and Margaret Dunn Manfreda. The Lyman Hall graduate was president of his 1972 senior class and later went on to attend Providence College graduating in 1976. For over 30 years he was a chief systems analyst at SNET and later at AT&T. In addition Mark was a Union Representative for CUTW Local 1298.
He was a loving father and best friend to his only child, Sarah Anne, of Wallingford; and is survived by his brother, Attorney Michael Manfreda, of Boston, Mass.; his uncle, Robert Manfreda, of North Haven; Sarah's mother, Linda Manfreda; and a circle of cousins. He was predeceased by his wife, Emerine Leolani King; and his uncle, John Manfreda, of Orange. He came just short of meeting his first much anticipated grandson.
