Wake and Funeral Services:
Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, Aug. 1, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the B. C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm St., Wallingford. A service will follow the calling hours at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Meriden Humane Society, 311 Murdoch Ave., Meriden, CT 06450.
MERIDEN - Harvey R. Jennings Jr., 46, of Meriden, beloved husband of Pauline (Bergeron) Jennings, departed this life unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday, July 28, 2012.
Harvey was born on March 4, 1966 in New Haven, son of Harvey and Judith (Beckert) Jennings. He was employed for more than 18 years with AT&T as a Network Deployment Technician in the Meriden area. In his spare time Harvey was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed working on his trucks, and cheering his sons on during numerous hockey and golf games, and also enjoyed cartoons even as an adult. He is remembered as a man who was always willing to reach out and help someone. His greatest legacy is that of a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend to the many who were privileged enough to know him.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Pauline Jennings, of Meriden; his four beloved children, Harvey Jennings, III, of Meriden, Justin Jennings, of Meriden, Melissa Welch, of Pennsylvania, and Stacey Welch, of Meriden. Harvey also leaves his parents, Harvey and Judith Jennings, of Wallingford; in addition to his twin sister, Darcie Pogmore and her husband, Bob Jr. of New York; and his sister, Kristin Jennings, of Wallingford; along with his best friend, Rich Murowsky, of Terryville. And who could forget his beloved four legged friends, Diesel and Snuggles.
