Wake and Funeral Info

A funeral service will be celebrated on Friday August 16, 2019 at 12 p.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home 430 Chase Parkway Waterbury. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery in Waterbury. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

We are sad to report that the mother of our Secretary-Treasurer Louise Gibson has passed away. Below is her mother's obituary as well as relevant information about her funeral arrangements. 

 

Ms. Dolores L. (Monserrat) Trudeau, 79, of 31 Nottingham Terrace, entered into the gates of heaven on Monday August 12, 2019 at VITAS inpatient Unit at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

 

Dolores was born in Middletown, CT on May 4, 1940, daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (Genova) Monserrat. She graduated from Wilby High School and earned an associate degree from Mattatuck Community College. She worked as a secretary for various businesses before purchasing her own business Casa Mia Restaurant which she ran until 1996. She was a member of the Clock City Temple # 895 of the Goodwill Lodge of Elks. She loved spending time with her family and will be dearly missed by them.

 

She leaves to cherish her memory; a son, Vincent Trudeau (Cheryl) of Lawrenceville, GA; 2 daughters, Sue Trudeau of Waterbury and Louise Gibson (Patrick) of Prospect; their father, Pierre Trudeau of Waterbury; 4 grandchildren, Gary Dozier Jr. (Erica Santiago) of Waterbury, Brittney Wilkes-Ellis (Adolph "DJ" Ellis) of Prospect, Allana Johnson of Waterbury and Tyler Gibson of Prospect; 2 great-grandsons, Jarell Dozier and Jacque Richard Jr.; and her longtime companion, David Johnson Sr. of Prospect.
