On Friday, April 26th, CWA 1298 took part in the Connecticut AFL-CIO's Workers Memorial Day. The event was held at the Workers Memorial in Bushnell Park. Workers Memorial Day is observed every year to celebrate the formation of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) and to remember and mourn those that lost their lives on the job over the previous year. Please remember that no job is so important that you risk your life or your safety. Take an extra moment to make sure that you are following all safety procedure, that you are wearing your PPE, and that you are aware of your surroundings.
