Monday evening CWA Local 1298 was out in New London to support our Union brothers and sisters at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital who were standing up against severe understaffing and fighting for patient care safety. AFT Connecticut Locals 5049 (Nurses), 5123 (Healthcare Workers), and 5051 (LPNs, Techs & Paramedics) held an Informational Picket to demand action on the crisis impacting healthcare workers and patients in New London.
