The Fourth of July is here and on this holiday we honor the founding of our nation. In 1776, a group of revolutionaries stood up to the most powerful force in the world at that time to say that all people have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. While our country has never been perfect, we have spent the years since trying to form a more perfect union.
Everyday, we continue this fight to live a happier life. A life without fear of economic hardship, a life without worry for where the next meal will come from or where you will sleep at night. As we go through these challenging times, our pursuit of happiness continues.
This Fourth of July take a few moments and pursue something that makes you happy. It has been a tough year for everyone and what better time than on the Fourth of July to take a break and try to pursue that unalienable right.
