Frontier Benefits and Insurance Update

Supplemental Disability Insurance: The Union has been informed that Aon Hewitt provided incorrect rate information to Frontier's benefits administrator, Empyrean.  for the calculation of our Supplemental Disability Insurance. Because of this if members access their benefits on the Empyrean website they will notice an increase in their payments for supplemental insurance. Final confirmation with the updated costs has been provided by Aon Hewitt and Empyrean is going to fix the rates and update the website to show correct information. Frontier expects this to be corrected by November 14.  The good news is that the correct rates will be reflected in our pay checks. Medical Deductible and Out of Pocket Roll overs: Frontier has explained that a file was received from October 21 from BCBSIL and forwarded to Anthem which reflects any of the accumulations reached up to that date. This file is being loaded manually and that will be completed by end of day today, Friday, November 7. Another file is expected November 22 and again in late December capturing any accumulations met since the last file received.
