CWA Local 1298 has reached a tentative  agreement with YP LLC.   Our bargaining committee has worked strenously for the past year in an effort to reach an agreement. A contract explanation and ratification meeting is scheduled fon Monday February 22, at 1:00 PM where the committee will review the proposed changes and hold a question and answer session .  A ratification vote will be taken at this meeting.   To ensure all members have the ability to vote this meeting will be held during working hours. This agreement includes realignment of sales roles which will be explained to you by YP management during the upcoming week. Your Union representation will be available to attend these meetings with you if you so choose. Please see the attached highlights as follows. 2016 YP Contract Highlights Contract through April 2018 2% yearly retroactive raise for clerical back to April 11 2015 Base increases: SAM (previous SAR) $74,250 AM (previous Prem) $52,550 SE (previous DSE/IMED) $42,750 + additional $28K non recoverable advance draw year one Territory based canvas with initial territories assigned by seniority No new customer sale requirements for SAM’s or AM’s Quota based commission plan paying out with negative objective at 75% attainment Any current Premise Rep reassigned to Sales Executive role (Digital Sales Executives) will have to the choice of accepting the new role or leaving the business with the EVSP payment Elimination of micromanaging by reduction in office attendance requirements Only required to report to office one time other than for “Monday morning meetings” Exception is for training or employees on a step of performance management plan Automobile allowance paid at $150 per week & maintain $75 monthly cellular reimbursement Layoff by combined seniority and performance for sales with EVSP amounts at current levels Bereavement increased to 5 days for immediate family (spouse, domestic partner, daughter, son, mother, father, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother, and/or sister). 3 days for extended family  (niece, nephew, aunt, uncle, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, step-sister, stepbrother, grandmother, grandfather, grandson, granddaughter, stepmother, stepfather, stepson, stepdaughter, parent of employee’s dependent child, great-grandmother, great-grandfather, great-granddaughter, and/or great-grandson) Expedited grievance timelines for timely resolution to contract disputes Elimination of 1-2 year time period for performance management warnings Maintained paid 9 holiday’s (Good Friday changed to Christmas Eve)  Closed Christmas week 2016 and 2017 Healthcare will remain same for 2016 and current level of HSA will be funded upon ratification ($1200 family and $600 indv.) Subsequent years will be Management healthcare
