Bus Trip Canceled.

On October 17th, nearly 2,000 FairPoint workers in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont went ON STRIKE because the North Carolina-based company that’s largely owned by Wall Street hedge funds wants to dramatically increase their health care costs, freeze their pensions, end retiree health care, and turn their good middle-class jobs into temporary jobs with poverty wages. Join Us As We STAND UP and FIGHT BACK! Local 1298 will be providing a bus for all those who wish to attend the rally on November 8th in Portland Maine. The bus will be leaving union HQ promptly at 7:30 am arriving in Portland Maine by noon.
