AT&T Surplus F08 Pool June 2016

AT&T and the Union met with impacted employees in th F08 pool today.   AT&T shared the and reviewed a presentation that follows the Article 7 contract language as it pertains to a lay -off.  The Company has denied the unions request to offer Employment Opportunity Enhanced Retirement Benefit  (EO-ERB) as it pertains to our Collective Bargaining Agreement. We believe retiree eligible employees whose work is moving to another state may elect to retire and receive an enhanced pension benefit of 120% of their applicable EVSP in leiu of an EVSP. The Union has filed a grievance and has requested that it be waived to Step 2 in order to expedite the process and get our members the information they need that will help them in determining their futures.
