Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or Toys for Tots.
Ronald F. Richard Jr., age 48, of Shelton, passed away suddenly December 9, 2016. He was born in Newport, R.I. and was a longtime area resident. He worked in fiber optics as a telephone/cable splicer. Ron was an avid outdoors-man who loved to fish, hike, camp and bike. He also enjoyed listening to classic rock, jazz and blues music.He was an extremely generous man, always ready to help those in need. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Ron is survived by his beloved wife Amy Briones Richard of Shelton; two loving children, Melissa and her husband Ernest Kissi of New Britain, CT and George Richard of Shelton; his devoted parents Ronald F. and Patricia Richard Sr. of Stratford; two sisters Dawn Godin of Shelton and Catherine Corris and her husband Ronald of Torrington, CT; two brother-in-laws Alan Briones and King Briones, both of Shelton and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend his funeral services on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Directly at St. Lawrence Church 505 Shelton Ave. Shelton. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
