Thousands of customer service jobs in the United States have disappeared as corporations ship more jobs away in order to boost their profits at the expense of working people. But in Connecticut, we have a chance to pass a bill that will help make sure those good jobs stay in our communities.

The Act Concerning Call Centers and Notice of Closure (HB.6383) will work to protect local jobs by ending grants, loans, and tax benefits for companies that move at least 30% of calls out of state and requiring all state agencies to ensure that all business related call center work is performed by companies located in Connecticut.

Send a letter to your Connecticut State House Rep & Senator now telling them that we need to protect Connecticut jobs, and that keeping CT workers employed and our communities strong should be their top priority!
