This weekend we remember Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. While best known for fighting for civil and equal rights for black people throughout our nation, he was also a fighter and advocate for working people. He dedicated his life to the struggle to make a better world for his children and all the children of our country.
As we continue with our negotiations and fight with Frontier, Dr. King's fight should inspire us all to stand up and fight for the benefits that we believe we have earned. This weekend, let us renew our drive to create a fair and equitable society where as Dr. King said "my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."
Brothers and Sisters, let us come together and unite and continue our fight for justice.
