Your Bargaining Committee met with Frontier Communications this week to resume negotiations for a new contract. This week we focused on departmental issues in the Plant, Headquarters and Commercial & Marketing departments. We also continued conversations regarding healthcare and sick time. We are currently waiting on feedback regarding open proposals and requests for information and plan to meet early next week to work on counter proposals.
We stand together with our brothers and sisters currently bargaining in Pennsylvania and New York who are also bargaining contracts with Frontier. We appreciate the support of our members and their continuing efforts to send a clear message to the company that we are prepared to do what we need to get a fair contract.
Lastly, it is very important that our Frontier members who have not yet filled out an MRF (Member Relief Fund) form to please do so. In the event of a strike, you must have this form completed to be paid. If you do not complete this form, you will not be paid during a strike. Please click here to complete your MRF form.
