CWA Local 1298 Joins Hundreds Supporting Verizon Strikers in Lowell

For More Photos Click Here At today's rally in Lowell Mass, CWA 1298  stood on the strike line with hundreds of other CWA and IBEW members  to support  striking workers at Verizon.  Verizon proposes closing of call centers,  elimination of disability payments, frozen pensions for persons with greater than 30 years ( talk about  age discrimination),  they want job security tied to elimination of  seniority for transfers and contracting of work remains an issue.  Click Here for more on the rally.
