The Connecticut Congressional Delegation sent a letter to Randall Stephenson, CEO of AT&T Corporation, to urge his reconsideration of the decision to move 92 union positions and 25 management positions from the AT&T facility in Meriden to facilities in Georgia and Tennessee.

"These positions are quality, good paying jobs that provide fair wages and compensation to many Connecticut families," the Delegation wrote in the letter to Stephenson. "Transferring these positions means that many of your current employees will lose their jobs because they may be unable to transfer to those locations.   These job losses will impose significant financial and emotional hardships on your current employees and their families."
